Last weekend we had some friends and family over to the new pad to belatedly celebrate our 30th birthdays and have an excuse for some yummy food. It reinforced my view that potlucks RULE and it was fun to have the gang over.
Here's Uncle "Jip" (as Carson calls him) putting himself to work at the grill.

After the crowd thinned out, Myrna helped get the boys all tired out by racing from one end of the yard to the other. 
As you can see--it worked!
