As soon as I start to feel bad for myself for this miserable waiting period, I just think about my friend Amy. We started our adoption processes and home studies right about the same time. Check out the roller coaster she and her husband Ken have been on for the last few weeks! I can't imagine. I'm so happy for them and just praying them through these next several days until all the paperwork is signed and Katie is theirs for good. The pics didn't work on their blog, but I've seen her on Facebook and let me tell you: she's gorgeous!

Do you know Kerrie and Sharon from Australia? They have both been waiting 3-4 years for a referral from Thailand! I don't know how on earth they're doing it! Because 18 months seemed like an eternity to me.
